The BS Thread To Rule Them All!!!

We can forgive Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev if he has a hard time understanding the case of Billie Boggs, the famous homeless New York woman. A lot of us Americans have a tough time understanding it, too.

In a press conference at the end of the Moscow summit, President Reagan said he thought Gorbachev had an incorrect view of the progress Americans had made with such domestic humanitarian problems as prejudice and the homeless.

In particular, the President said, Gorbachev had a tough time understanding ”a young lady living on the sidewalks of New York” whose involuntary commitment to a hospital was overturned.

”She took her case to court and won her case in court that she should be allowed to go back and sleep on the sidewalk where she had been because that`s what she preferred to do,” Reagan said. ”Well, when you have a free country, how far can we go in impinging on the freedom of someone who says this is the way I want to live? I think we could straighten him (Gorbachev) out if he saw what we did in our country.”
 
Can't recall where, but I read, or saw that same article a long long time ago. Gotta ask....what the bleep has this got to do with anything?
 
could it be a good day to test these newish kumho tires (1500 miles on 'em now) and how they grip the wintery climate or disappoint and slip and slide with not much grip 4wheeling it up the snow-covered hillies
 
Idk how they will perform either, as their rating on ice wasn't all that good...only rated good for light snow, as they're an all season tire. We don't get big snowstorms here like decades past, mostly freezing rain, and moderate wet snowstorms, reason I didn't go more aggressive. The stock firestones that came on my truck weren't horrible either. So far i like the kumho's a lot better on dry, and wet roads.
 
Not getting into studded tires, but there are tires that perform better on ice than others due to their higher silica content.
 
Just did my online 2026 fishing, and boating license's. I don't get why their site has you go through several ''I am not a robot'' checks....took me more time to navigate that bs than actually filling out the rest of the info wanted.

Old George had some great tv comic rants. He was one hilarious sob. To this day I have never seen, or heard anyone better.

Back when I was in business, a minister required my shops services.....we got talking about problems various people were having with their lives. He told me 1 out of every 4 folks he's run into over the years is mentally ill, yet their functioning out in public without help.
