Tigers seem to be running on empty while these other teams are just hitting their stride. Red Sox got big issues with their offense not being able to score with runners on the bases. You can't leave over 10 runners in scoring position every game, and expect to win.
 
Even after all the walks, and errors by the red sox, they still managed to beat the jay birds 4-1 last night, and in jay bird stadium.

Red sox dumped the jay birds again last night 7-1. If boston can win another, they will clinch a wild card.
On another note, the jay birds, and yankees are going to have to duke it out for 1st place in the al east.
 
Jay birds beat boston 6-1 to win the 3rd game of the series. Red sox looked like they celebrated too much the night before. I never saw so many bad swings at pitches so far out of the strike zone.
 
Red Sox clinched their wildcard at fenway coming from behind with a walkout win over the tigers 4-3.
I guess they wanted to do it in front of their fans in boston.
