Don't waste your $ on a spacer lift/blocks unless you only troll mall parking lots. They're completely useless for flex. Spacers will lift you an inch and you loose an inch of spring. The ride sucks ****. You can do a complete suspension lift on a prerunner for less than a thousand bucks, uca's...

Other than the upgrade from plastic tanks, (I've only replaced 1 rad in 10 yrs) is there any other benefit? Like larger capacity possibly for us in a warmer climate? Just curious... And how much?

I'd get ahold of the dealer, the vin would tell them what color it is and you could get a code for paint match.

Amazon has good/inexpensive stuff. Otherwise try a motorcycle shop.

You probably are a lil older than me, however I grew up in a trailer park so it's like being 10 years behind most of the time anyways. We also had a tv on top of another tv. The bottom tv stopped showing color and it became the Nintendo tv, the 27" Panasonic sat on top. We were movin on up! [emoji6]

That's pretty average for myself. It's been known to be less but that's not the trucks fault! I usually get around 17mpg though.

1st gen tacos are known for being awesome as well... now, I don't know what part of the country you're in but if you live in the "rust belt" it really doesn't matter what you drive. A 1st gen tacoma in good condition is gonna take you where you want to go and beyond! I love mine and wouldn't...

Some of us Californians are rebels... I always have a gun in my vehicle. No it's never locked up, it's loaded ready to go like it's supposed to be... I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6. As long as you don't give Johnny a reason to pull you over you'll be ok. That's my philosophy.

Mine used to do that too... same truck! Haha I installed new suspension all the way around and no more bro lean! If you have the original rear shocks, remove the driver side rear shock and check it to see if it's blown. I'd bet that's what's goin on. At least that's what my situation was.

Coolant doesn't go bad unless it's been contaminated with something like oil. Unless you're doing a svc that requires you to dump your coolant (heads, water pump, timing belt, etc...) no reason to dump it

Gotta love computers. Taking over the world one day at a time! I'll keep tossing $ at my 1st gen taco... more primitive= less problems. Hell, my 04 4runner has too many bells and whistles for me, I can't imagine the 2017/8's I'd go nuckingfutts! All the bad things I hear about the newest gens...
