    First Generation Tacoma Pics

I still in the 10 yrs I've had her never seen another white TRD with the same color TRD side sticker. Seen it on a few black 4runners, but never a taco... always the blk/red pinstripe combo, but not mine... anybody have a guess as to why? (And no, it's not a wannabe TRD, it's the real deal...

    Done with Tocamo

I drive a 1st gen taco with over 265,000 and she runs like a mother in laws mouth! I can tow an 8ft trailer if I have to, but don't really need to cause it's equipped with a bed. Like the other fellas are sayin comparing a taco (mid size) to an f150 (full size) isn't fair. An f150 is made for...

    1999 4wd 2.7 liter part out help

So as a pup I was told in the land of salvage, take your bottom dollar and add 25% to it and never drop below your bottom $ and you'll always come out on top. As far as #'s go? I couldn't really say... , maybe offer the selling point that you don't require a core! That goes a long way believe...

    1999 4wd 2.7 liter part out help

Having worked in the salvage industry I can tell you that there's only a handful of "valuable" parts on 99% of most vehicles. Tacos included. With that said... if you have plenty of patience, and are willing to deal with the people! You could make the $1200+ back, just usually doesn't happen...

Where to get led lights for dash panel? And AC controls

I would try a motorcycle shop. I work for a H-D dealer and we sell led's from drag specialties (distributor) and guys can install em pretty much however they want. If you're in a 1st gen taco you'll probably need to add a load equilazor for the led's. I had to on mine when I installed led...

    Wheel spacers

I agree with OR17TRD, I would avoid the spacers and do wheels instead. It probably won't rub on regular turns, but it will a lil bit on those stressed out flexed turns (wheelin) I was runnin 265/75-16 on my 99 before the lift, and it didn't rub unless I was in the woods. Ball peen hammer inside...
