My 06 Taco running in northeast road salt for 185,000 miles was coated with chainsaw bar oil under frame. Just spray on 1-2 times a year, $10 harbor freight gun and 1/2 hour of your time. Keeps the undercarriage rust free, stay away from the breaks.

I tried the flush, no change but applying some oil to the u-joint with a small paint brush (get under truck driver side) did the trick.
