Never have bought a truck need help

I have a 2015 V6 4X4 with A/T tires. It will serve you well to find something similar. I would not go with a 4 cylinder if going with a 4X4. It would be fine on 2 WD regular cab but when the weight goes up you need more torque of the V6. Good luck

Good luck getting a 2015 4X4 V6 double cab SR5 for $20K unless it has 100K miles on it.

    2011 Tacoma test drive

Perfect..........make sure it's the right truck for you. You may also want to test drive a V6 to compare. Not sure all that much difference but maybe since it's a 4X4 which will be heavier than 2 wheel drive and require some extra torque. Especially if you are going to put bigger tires than...

    2011 Tacoma test drive

My advise is to pass on it since you could smell burning oil and tires. That should not be normal and if you smelled it the dealer should have done an inspection and caught the problem. Did they have any service records? Carfax? history?

Do you mean the rectangular storage doors behind the wheel wells? I use mine but if you don't like them I would guess Gorilla tape may work for awhile.

‘09 Taco. How bad is this rust on frame?

ok, then if you don't want to go look at it, find another one closer to you. A nice Toyota is not going to be cheap as you probably are finding out.

‘09 Taco. How bad is this rust on frame?

put some light on photos next time. Hard to tell if surface rust but my guess from your pics is it is just surface rust. I would ask the dealer if he is willing to let you scrape off an area of undercoating to get a better idea. Also ask what kind of undercoating to make sure it is a rust inhibitor.

    Coolant level.

Coolant level should be at the lower line when cold and upper when hot.

    Suspension Re-torque

never seen anything regarding service from any new car dealer stating a service is required to re-torque bolts. And most warranties are way past the 1,000 miles to re-torque. The only people who use torque wrenches are hobbyists and tire/wheel people. Never seen any shop using a torque...

    Suspension Re-torque

Not sure re-torquing is necessary. How many new cars require you to come in for service so they can re-torque your nuts and bolts?

    Which one?

I run Nitto as the price/quality is good. Think Toyo might be on the pricey side.
