I guess it depends on whose version of a good ride is. I've heard from others using Bilstien 5100 coil overs making their tacoma ride like a lumber wagon vs the stock 4600's. Idk about their 6112's.

Really depends if in a red, or blue state for cheaper prices on fuels, besides gas prices always rise in the summer when more people are driving....it's supply, and demand. Trump's drill baby drill program hasn't fully kicked in yet either to lower prices on everything from groceries to gasoline.

They were at 3.19 a gal for top tier 87 e10 for several weeks....at 3.39 a gal. now. Lots of cheaper no name gas to.

No, that truck has a lift. A guy I know has a lift in his gen3...said it rides like crap after vs the stock height. Just comes down to wanting more aggressive looks vs function. My gen3 is still all stock right down to the tires. Its got a very comfortable ride, and going to stay that way.
