Check out the Scan Gauge, you can set it to show all kinds of info. It plugs into your OBD port. Best part is you take it with you for your next truck.

The short answer, no and no. Any modifications will only effect a warranty if they can prove that the modification caused the warranty issue.

Good point, duh on my part. I have a scan gauge. I am looking at campers for a purchase next spring. Tranny temp will be something to monitor while hauling.

If I were to call a parts store, I would ask for the left side C/V shaft inner seal or C/V shaft seal at the front diff for the specific vehicle. Usually you need year, make, model and engine size.

There is a seal in there, the axle will need to be pulled out to replace it. Not an uncommon problem in 4 wheel and front wheel drive vehicle.
