    Newbie to the forum

The 3rd gens are notorious for gear searching. A guy told me at a local 4 wheel shop that changing the axle gears are helping, but who wants to spend a couple more thousand on a new truck? The 2nd gens which go up to 2015 don’t have the searching issue. The resale value will always be higher...

Best way to remove unwanted dealership sticker?

A 3m eraser wheel works great. You put it on your drill and it cleans all stickers off without having to use chemicals on the paint.

Yeah my son and I thought it was from a distance, but as we got closer we realized it wasn’t as nice as a Taco. [emoji23]

New to forum 2015 - Plugs and Tires

I like the Toyo Open Country ATII. That’s what I have put on previous and current tacos, my oldest sons Tundra, and my youngest sons Ranger. All are strictly used for just street. They ride nice and quiet.

What have you done to your Tacoma today?

That’s exactly what I did. I also ran the reverse trigger wire to the harness behind the glovebox. It’s nice having a big camera screen now!

What have you done to your Tacoma today?

Replaced the stock head unit with a Pioneer AVH-1440NEX. I even got the rear view camera to work on the stereo screen. No more looking at the tiniest back-up screen ever!!

Lift kit for 2019 TRD Off Road, crew cab, 6ft bed and cap.

That would be the needle bearing issue. Check out the ECGS website and get their replacement sleeve. Your problems will be solved with that fix.

Man you should go in there and talk to the service manager and have him ride with you. Hopefully it is normal for the 2.7 to do that.

    New guy here

From a previous 3rd gen to now a 2nd gen owner... my advice, don’t do it. Lol the 3rd gens are nice, but I think the 2nd gens are a lot peppier and have less gear searching than the 3rds. You really can’t go wrong with either though. A Taco is a Taco!

That’s crazy!! Someone must have messed up on that window sticker. My ‘17 sport was 4wd and fully loaded except for leather and was 40. And it wasn’t technically 3 years used like this SR5. SMH! Haha

Are you talking about spacers for the lift? If so, they wouldn’t cause the truck to have vibrations when idling. It could cause vibrations while driving. I’d have someone else check the truck, definitely another Toyota dealership. I had a car several years ago that had a vibration like that. It...

Lift kit for 2019 TRD Off Road, crew cab, 6ft bed and cap.

Have you tried putting the truck in 4wd while driving down the road to see if the feeling goes away in the front end? If it does clear up, then it is the needle bearing. If it doesn’t clear up, then the issue is something else. My ‘17 did the same thing and would clear up when I switched it to...

Best lift kit for an SR 2wd?

I have a ‘10 Prerunner with 4” spindle and 2” block and its completely level. I didn’t worry about the block because I do no off roading or much hauling things in the bed. The spindle lift keeps it riding like stock along with keeping exact geometry of the front suspension as a stock suspension.
