I had 3” in the front and 1” in the rear. It definitely could have used 2” rear. You can go up to 3” without messing with the UCAs. Above 3” is when you need to replace them or you’ll eat the tires up in about a year.
I bought replacement ones off eBay for $27. I was surprised that they came with the wiring harness and switch. Mine already had fog lights. I haven’t had any problems except the fact that they are so damn bright that they blind people in front of me. I say go for it!
Same thing happened to my mom’s Nissan. It happened a few times and nothing was ever done, but they finally came out with a recall not too long ago. Keep pushing the issue. Good luck!
No, I got the stems at Discount Tire. The old stems had died, so I bought new stems when I got new tires. They were cheap and programmed to the truck for $20 each.
You should have the original valve stems switched over to your new rims. If not, your tire pressure light will remain on. It’s a cheap switch at Discount Tire.
Mine is a 2wd with the 4” Maxtrac spindles and 2” rear. Gonna put 285s on it when the next holiday comes around and tires go on sale. The lift is super easy to install yourself.
