If possible take it to another Toyota dealer. Service Writers can come up with some of the craziest crap sometimes.

That would be a hard one to repair, and make it look good. I would say check one of those "pull a part" yards if you have one close. If not scour the salvage yards on the net. I would think you could find one with a little digging. Good luck.
