Forgot to add, straight portion of the j-hook will go through tool box, curved end will loop under top lip of rail system into drilled hole, secured in tool box with washer and nut, using silicone to waterproof
Bought a tool box from lowes with clamp mounts for my 2014 taco, the clamp mounts won't work because of the rail system so I'm thinking of using j-hooks and screwing it into the top panel of the rail system. Tool box has pre-drilled holes, anyone see any problems? Weight will rest on the side...
I have a 2014 DCSB off-road taco, loaded it with firewood a week ago to the top of the bed, now when I sit on the tailgate it sinks about 1-2inches, I don't remember the suspension in the back being that soft prior; sound normal?
