My 2016 was almost 2qts low on tranny fluid from factory. Would jolt when it went inti gear.Bitched to corporate and got a 8yr 125k mile Platinum warranty out of them. My gas cap lid broke at hinge , gonna see if they cover it?

45k miles here and no problems. Have actually hardly seen any mechanical problems reported with the Tacoma V6?! Some guys complain about lack of power but no real mechanical issues. Let us know what you find out..

I changed mine with an oem filter at 25k it was filthy need to replace at least every 20k. I don't drive in dusty conditions either

Got the update. They didn't know about it. Haven't noticed any lag, and didn't seem to upshift to higher rpm for slight incline while going down the highway in cruise either. Thanks

Thanks! My truck is at dealer now. I txt them the tsb # as I have had the lag issue. See what they say?
