Not sure how well it deflects the bugs, but I definitely think it cut down on the paint chips from highway driving on the hood. My wife has a 99' Rav4 without a bugshield and her hood (especially the front) is all chipped.

I put a AV bug deflector II on my 03' SR5. Love the way it looks. I like it better than the EGR bug shield I had originally but returned.

03' SR5 59k miles. Not much done since I just got it.

I think the hose clamp mod only works on 2nd gens. (as I was just told on TW). 1st Gens are bolted on so no need for the hose clamp. Thanks again for your time:thumbsup:

I paid $13.750 for it. I think it was a fair price, but then I had to have it shipped from Florida so now I'm in well over $14.000. I have been looking for a clean Taco for the last couple years so when I found it, I had to have it. how about you?

Yep, 5 speed SR5! But I really wanted that Red color.:wallbash:. Either way I hope this truck lasts me the next 10 years with minimal problems.
