You can drive in 4 wheel anywhere. Even if it's a paved road. If you turn hard then the tires will turn over each other. That's about it. I engage it a few times a month. You can engage it on the way to work. When you get there just turn it off. I wouldn't do 60+ mph in 4 hi but, engage it none the less.
This is soo true, it is in the manual, so i would do it, makes total sense. Also true about dry pavement, its okay, just dont turn, i usually wait for a good rain then drive part of the way home in 4high.
