Hi guys, new member here. I recently acquired a beautiful 1999 4wd Toyota Tacoma, and promptly rear ended another truck on my way home from work. I’d probably managed to slow her from 60 to at least 20 or 30 mph when I hit, but his trailer hitch punched through my bumper and into my lower radiator. Miraculously that appears to be the only engine damage (besides the ac condenser). Everything else looks like cosmetic damage to my novice eyes, other than that lower black bar that you see there, which is welded to the frame. The fenders have been pushed back, the one on the right further so when I open my passenger door there’s a “cracking” sound from the friction of the two pieces being too close together. Then of course the front end which sits behind the bumper is slightly mangled and pushed back, which I believe to be the reason those fenders are out of place. I’d very much appreciate any advice you guys can give me, I’m short on cash right now, so currently my priority is to get her running first so I can get to work, them over time repair the non essential things so I can get her all pretty again. If any of you have advice on exactly how to go about doing that, again I’d much appreciate it because I’m not very knowledgeable on car repairs (yet). Also I’m happy to answer any questions or provide more pics if it helps. Thanks. View attachment 31103
