1st time toyota owner

Hey everyone I had just purchased a new 2014 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4.
So far I had my windows tinted and installed a Magnaflow Offroad Pro Series exhaust.
Plan on doing so much more.

The exhaust is very loud and deep. My only complaint is the in cab noise.

Welcome to the forum! Yeah the off road pro magnaflow does have that cab noise, that's the result of the exit pipe under the truck, it bounces the sound everywhere.

Thats a waste! Id rather have somethin to make it loud without soending all that money on a mew exhaust system

It's really not that expensive to change the tone of your exhaust. You can buy a $40 or $50 glass pack or sport muffler and replace the stock muffler. Quick fix with a couple if clamps.

No I'm afraid not. Not with a muffler swap...it's just for sound.

actually, it depends.
crap mufflers can rob horsepower/MPG's by choking the engine.

mufflers that use baffled systems, like flowmasters, tend to choke the engine, trading some performance for sound.

Straight-through types, like magnaflows tend to avoid this problem

No. Like this guy tod me theres a thing you clip in you exhaust and it makes a loud noise when you step on the gas

There is nothing cheap about getting more power or good sound from an engine.
