Hello all! I wanted to reach out to my fellow Arizonian Tacoma lovers and invite everyone to join us July 21st at Bison Ranch in Heber/ Overgaard, AZ. for some family fun, great food and good times! Look us up on Facebook for more info and some fun pics. I’ll try to keep this thread updated as we finalize more details. Thanks for taking a peek, we hope to see a field full of Tacoma’s there!

It’s an exhausting blast! Haha! We’ve been a part of it for 5 years now. My wife’s family started it about 10 years ago as a small get-together in a back yard. 7 years ago, there were so many people wanting to come, that they had to find a venue and start selling tickets. 5 years ago, I got roped into joining the chaos after filling in for a sick cook the year before. Haha! Last year we were pretty much handed the reins for this whole extravaganza about 5 weeks before D-Day, it was a little intense but we pulled it off! This year should be a little smoother since we’ve been setting things in motion for a couple months now. Trying to bring back the trapping contest this year with a substantial prize TBA later on. Hoping to be cooking 2,000lbs+ this year!
 
That's alot of crawfish! I wish I lived closer.....would be great to attend it and meet you! Sometimes just helping out ends up with it being your gig! LOL But, sounds like you're enjoying it and it's working smooth for ya! Congrats!
 
So far we have locked down Bayou Bistro out of the valley for some amazing Cajun cuisine, Vinny’s kettle corn and Big Poppa’s specialty hot dogs for other food vendors. We may be having one of the best BBQ rigs around show up. We’ve got the Taylor family circus coming to entertain the kiddos with face painting, stilt walking, balloon animals, bounce houses and circus tricks. We’ll have Steve and Deena giving free dance lessons between bands as well as our Crawfish eating contest!

More info to come soon! We’re getting some great donations and raffle prizes already! Heading out again to make face and see how else we can make this a memorable day and a tradition for everyone!

Today we locked down a sponsorship package with Sanderson Ford out of Glendale, AZ who will also be bringing the "Tomcar" (very cool ride, look it up) for test drives of the 2 and 4 seater models on the forest roads nearby. Ticket sales are great! Almost topping last year's pre-sales and still 2 months to go! This is really shaping up to be a fun day! Getting close to time to start this year's T shirt design contest, more info to come. Goodnight all!
 
AZ, here I come! I love Louisiana but I am most definitely ready to be in that cool, dry mountain air! Not to mention all that crawfish I'm cooking up Saturday!!! Wifey has done an amazing job putting this thing together while I take care of the fun parts! I hope to see our AZ tacos there! I'll post pics from the event sometime soon. Haha!
