2021 TRD sport alloys on my 2017 SR5?

I was wondering if 17" alloys would work on my 2017 SR5? My son is upgrading the wheel and tires on his 2021 TRD Sport. He offered to give me his 17" factory alloys.

Yeah i can't see why they wouldn't....same bolt pattern. Just the tire size chose would be different.

Just check the back space and dry fit one on the front. Most likely no problem on rear. Look at UCA for clearance. You could always put 1" spacer to bump them out a little too

I was thinking the same thing. You would think they would just bolt right up. The 2017 and 2021 Tacoma looks almost identical.

I would think a gen3 chassis is a gen3 no matter what year. The wheels whether 16'' or17'' gotta fit as long as you run the tire size recommended for that wheel.

I have 1.25 spacers on the drivers side of my '16 because there is a 3/4" difference from the passenger side to the drivers side without them . so I padded the drivers side out to even it up. Its weird but handles fine.

The wheels on all First gen Tundras, 4 runners, Tacomas, Sequoias and FJ’s that have 6 lugs can be swapped out between each other. Lots of OEM wheel options on Toyota trucks/SUV’s. The tire size could be the only issue on a 2wd vs 4wd.
I’ve had FJ wheels on a 1st gen Tundra, 4runner wheels on a Tacoma, Tacoma wheels on a 1st gen Tundra, Tundra wheels on a Sequoia, Tacoma off road wheels on a sport, sport wheels on an SR5. No issues.

I think those wheels would even fit the older compact toyota 4x4 pickup's or visa versa.

I like the 4runner wheels on tacos too and 3rd gen 2015 they just look right . better than the '16 sport wheels that were on mine

They have a little deeper look not as flat as alot of wheels .I like the deep dish and pizza too.

They'll fit fine as others said. Ride quality may slightly worsen going from 16" to 17" wheels, due to the lower profile sidewall.

The local dealer mentioned this too. They just advised I will need to purchase or reprogram the TPS sensors.
