2023 Sport high mount brake light

I have been trying to install a led 3rd brake light. The male power connector is of a different size than what is possibly in a 2022.
I have returned 2 each lights as the female port is lager than male power connector. I am waiting on a third led light and the vendor has
assured me it has the correct size. Please see attached pictures.

Any help on this issue or maybe you have had experience with this problem would be appreciated

They do. It has been a mandatory Federal Motor Vehicle law from ages ago.

I think the OP is on an LED kick to replace the standard bulbs.

Generally, based on what I've read, the change tends to create more issues than it solves.
 
Got it, missed the led part. Many of the led replacement lighting lens sold today are already converted for plug, and play, why the op's plug won't fit is a mystery, unless its not the brake light connector, and something else.
