4x4 banging sound

Going in or usually out of 4x4 i get a loud bang like its stuck, ( the pin ? ) toyota said its the road surface , but even on gravel it does it, does not seem right ?? Pretty violent sometimes any ideas ty much ps some times it guiet
 
Letting off the throttle before shifting in and out of 4wd will make the shift easier because you are unloading the drivetrain. Also make sure the rear wheels are not spinning with the fronts not spinning when shifting into 4wd.
 
Yes ty i am always stopped ,put it 4x4 then you have to start going slow to engage no ? Flashing light to solid light going in not to bad coming out worst at times got stuck one mechanic at toyota didnt know what to do Ps never on hard surface always on at least some kind of gravel
