Tale of the Tape: (i know i'll forget things)
January 2012
- Bought the truck, 2008 Tacoma DCSB TRD O/R Barcelona Red 59k miles $24,400
- First mod was the anytime fog light mod (technically not ANYtime as your parking lights have to at least be on, but awesome mod!)
- TRD Skid-Plate from previous truck (was not giving it to the dealer)
- Flyzeye LED lighting, stock amber/white, v1 battery powered, i like it but rarely use it as its dead, or i forget its there...
- all-weather floor mats
- EGR in-channel vent-visors
April 2012
- Wheelers 3-Leaf Progressive AAL packs, OL leaf kept in
- Bilstein 5100 series adjustable struts set to 2.5"

- scored some '09+ LED tail lights for $60 shipped to my house from CL...
- Factory DRL kit, awesome mod!
- picked up a set of 305/70/16 BFG MT KM1's that were hammered from CL, also a set of 4 1.5" no-name brand wheel spacers and ran that set up for less than 24hrs. truck rode like ****, and violently shook at any speed above 45.... so i went back to the stockers for a while and started at square 1
sold the tires for what i paid for them, and traded the spacers to the guy at tire warehouse to get my stock tires put back on....
- painted engine cover
- got hit at intersection and dented rear bumper, replaced with brand new OEM chrome bumper for $50 on CL... pocketed the rest of the $950 insurance gave me
July 2012

August 2012 - not much money for my truck as it all went to an engagement ring
- Bought/Installed my TRD Cat-Back Exhaust System for $357.50 shipped from shoptrd.com (awesome place, cheapest prices on TRD accessories i've seen...)
- Bought a set of rear Fox 2.0 Piggyback Reservoir shocks for $300 on here, FINALLY got rid of the stock Billy's... had to cut one off, what a difference!
- BeefedTaco CB Drop Bracket, really helped with low speed vibes, and 60mph vibe, love it!
- Greased Slip-Yoke with Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease (cheap/easy way to stop thud when you come to a stop)
September 2012
- Debadged doors, replaced tacoma emblems with old school toyota pick-up "4 Wheel Drive" decals, looks way better!
- Tacomaworld.com sticker, thanks bob!
November 2012
- TG Fully-Welded, Bolt-On Rock Rails
- still need paint, and to be put on (contemplating having them welded on..)
- Firestik 2', 5/8 wave antenna, mounted in bed
- 48" All-Cast Hi-Lift jack
- 4X-RAC Hi-Lift Mounts to mount it in the bed
- Hi-Lift Handle Keeper/Isolator
- Traded the Ivans/Guard dogs for some 3rd gen 4runner alloys, and new 265/75/16 Duratracs
i like the look much better, and get my MPG's back. I can actually use cruise control on my way to work and not have the truck shift down up every little incline!!!
December 2012
