Alternator Rebuild? Help

So my alternator died out on the trail. I got the truck home and wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt a Tacoma alternator. I thought I have see somewhere that you can rebuild them...... any links or help would be great! I'm just looking to save so money.

Oh and I drive an 03 Double Cab V6 automatic.....

I'm sure it is possible but I have never done it. Check youtube for a how to.

I knew I had found this before. Its for the old 3.0 but its pretty but exactly the same as the 3.4

The Rebuild worked like a charm $19s in parts vs 150ish for a auto store alternator! Idk why more people don't do this honestly.....pics soon
