Andriod Auto for 2019 Tacoma

I would also like that if it were possible. But we likely won’t know until some one finds a ‘20 head unit and tries to retrofit it in an 18 or 19. I don’t think the surround cam would work unless you were to add more cameras yourself. And because of the new cams not sure if one would have to alter the wiring harness or not. I would venture to guess there was some wiring differences with the new features added.
 
I’m hoping Toyota will dump a software update for it sometime. I’m sure it’s possible for them to do, just weather or not they do it. My wife’s Range Rover did not have apple car play or android auto but we recently received a letter in the mail from the dealership about bringing it in for a software update to add apple CarPlay. We can only hope it happens to Toyota
 
That would be amazing. And hopefully that does happen. Although I'm not going to hold my breath either. I ended up mounting the TPAM for the Tacoma and run my iPad as my entertainment center on long trips. IMG_1597.jpg
