I purchased a brand new Tacoma trd sport in January and took it into the shop for its 8000km check up. 3 days later it was on the back of a tow-truck and would not start.
screen was showing high oil temperature as well as low oil pressure.
turns out the computer completely failed causing two of the catalytic converters to fail as well as the crank shaft sensor to fail. which have all been replaced. As well as work on the transmission.
I've heard of one other 2016 TRD sport with this case recently.
Has anyone else heard of this problem yet?
