Bed bolt length

Gentlemen, and everyone else.

Can anyone tell me how much of the bolt that holds the bed in place stick thru the nut? I'm looking to put a bed mat in my truck, and locally they are stolen almost as fast as you can buy them. I'm looking to hold the bed mat in place with the bed bolts if possible, to prevent theft.

I'd look for myself, but my back is out and I'm riding the recliner for the next week or so. Thank you all for your help.

Personally, if you want it bolted down, I would drill 2 new holes and pick up some bolts, lock nuts, fender washers and something to take up the space between the mat and bottom of the bed floor from the hardware to put in the front of the bed. That way you can still flip it up to clean underneath and don't have to worry about your bed bolts getting loose and rattling.

Thanks. Anything fragile under them? Im probably going to need to expand them for the drain tubes for my new Cover. Also I would look myself but I'm still waiting for my truck [emoji51]

There is plenty of clearance on the passanger side of my 19 on the drivers side, there is only about 3" before you hit the fuel tank filler neck. And BTW, a hole will cost you $465.....

Its okay, I like wasting my money on holes in things I already have instead of ordering a new brush guard. They are overrated.....
