Does anyone know the torque on the 6 large bed bolts (T55 I believe, they are M12)?

Thanks.

Go to Tacomaworld and look up Torque Spec Guide. Not sure if it will help for the 3rd gen though. Worth a try!

Thanks, but I looked it up and no bed bolts. 50-60 ft lbs seems to be the general opinion. I would say 60 dry threads, 50 lubed threads, unless I find some actual torque figures. After all, you're only clamping plastic to steel.

I looked all over the net. A few people with new(ish) trucks arrived at from 55 to 60 foot pounds to break the fasteners loose. So I guess 50 to 55 foot pounds dry threads for torque, minus 5 pounds for lube. Mine are getting antizeize covered and silicone under the bed washer. Great water trap. THANK YOU FOR YOUR BRILLIANT DESIGN TOYOTA.
