What could cause my belt to show wires. I just replaced it 7k miles ago. Could the tensioner cause it? Every time when I crank it up it makes a noise

Positive that the belt wasn't off a groove on a pulley when installed?

Belts don't like oil. Was it aligned properly on the pulleys. Are all the pulleys themselves lined up?

I put the belt by my self on. My motor is leaking oil slightly

Bearings, improper alignment, wrong belt?
Doubt the tensioner mechanism itself did it.. alot of supercharged guys are changing blower pullies and adding MORE pullies than normal to avoid belt slippage during boost. Some have BROKEN the tensioner arm for the blower serpentine belt and the belt itself has been either fine, or wrapped up after the fact the tensioner broke.

How about the belt that's been sitting on the auto parts store shelf for 10 years drying out and cracking just one of those things that make you go hmmmmmmmm [emoji106]
