The truck has great ground clearance and was looking for some side steps that won't kill the clearance.
They can be used as a step they are going to give you the most ground clearance which is what you where wanting. If you want a step that hangs down then you’ll loose the ground clearance. A bar style or tube step would basically be the same but they are useless IMO. I’d rather get the rock sliders.Sliders dont have a step though right
Maybe. My wife is 5'2" so looking to help her get in the truck without losing to much. I think the sliders may still be to high no?
Haha that’s great. My wife is 4'10" and I took the steps off, lifted it and designated a stool to be "The Hobbit Stool" [emoji23]View attachment 20534
I'm so glad she has a great sense of humor! [emoji23]Haha that’s great.
Your truck?Sliders tuck right up against the body. It isn't much lower than the door sill.

I'd say check out the OEM aluminum running boards.
Your truck?
These are it.
Might as well have rock sliders.I have the second gen version of the steps. I dont use them as a step because they’re too high on the truck to be used. If i do use them i have to squat down to get inside. Step up then squat down, annoying
Might as well have rock sliders.
