Clicking noise

Just searching for some info, I have 2011 TRD Sport.with 4.0l Occasionally when sitting at an idle I hear almost like the old22R valve noise ie. When they need adjusted. It will increase with light throttle then go away!! Oddly it is so random, . Any one else dealing with this? I have 194,000 on it doesnt burn a drop of oil and performs like new

My truck does it too. I have heard it is something to do with the way they designed the intake manifold.

Vsv vaccum switching valve iirc.
