DIY bedliner - who's used some

I was planning on painting some bumpers etc with bedliner. Who's had luck with any of the DIY kits? Spray can, brush which ever.

I've had terrible luck with duplicolor spray liner in a can. It's very fickle on the surface you spray it on. I like rustoleum spray liner in a spray can but my only complaint is it lacks texture.

I've had good luck with Herculiner bed liner paint. If you're going to paint your chrome bumpers you need to first sand it down and get all of the chrome finish off. This is a time consuming process. Then you need to wipe it down with acetone.
