Does 3 inch lift compromise tow ability?

I'm thinking about putting a 3inch lift on my 2015 Tacoma. Question is, will that affect the ability for my truck to handle the weight of my boat (about 4000 lbs) on a long tow?
 
A lift won't change the ability to tow. You might have to get a drop down tow hitch.
 
Do you recommend a certain brand you know adapts to the Tacoma well without having any issues afterwards?

There is no way to guarantee no issues with any mod. There are lift kits that are made for your Tacoma that will give you the look you want and function you need.
As far as what kits I'd recommend depends on your budget. Ultimately I'd do:
Old man emu(OME) BP-51 $3200
Or
King OEM performance series. $2300

The OME kit comes with rear leaf pack you'll need new UCA.
The king shocks with TC UCA and a Dakars leaf pack cost will be close to the OME kit.
OME has cheaper kits that are good
Toytec has some kits that are good and under $2000.
You can do bilstein 5100 front and back with Dakars in back and some coils in front.
Lots of options and all are good on a Taco.
