Fan switch problem

The fan will only run on the Hi setting in my 2005 TRD Off-Road.

Does this sound like the switch is bad or could it be something else?

Switch, fuse or relay.

Found the connector and it has he burn mark on it. Thanks that must be it.

So I ordered the parts, waiting for them to arrive. In the mean time the fan is now working. Maybe unplugging the resistor and plugging it back in may have fixed the problem.

I'd still change it all out.

Agree with whippersnapper. I’d still change it simply because you have the parts and it’s already got burn marks.
Better to do it now than when it fails in the middle of winter or on a trip or something.
