Front-end noises back

I'm getting a little annoyed after taking my truck in for noise coming from the front end on the driver side .
The dealership told me that they fixed the problem that was 2 week ago. Today drove over a small bump on the road in my way home. And right away I can hear the noise coming back.

No it is a knocking noise I was not in 4×4 I can feel the knock through the floorboard
 
Call corporate and start a case with them. That would be the next step in getting your issue resolved.

If you have another dealership close take it to them for diagnosis. Or go back to the original dealership and demand another look at it.
Also, get ahold of corporate like @OR17TRD said.
 
Is there snow where you are? This has happened to me a couple of times. Super loud thunk. You can feel it. It sounds like there is no fluid in the shock.
I had a piece of ice in my coil. Every time. Go wash your truck. Blast the hell out of your front coils/shocks.
 
So I got a hold of corporate and they are working with the dealership to try and figure it out. But yesterday the noise stop all together. I am seriously thinking it's not the struts. The first time it happened the dealership had the truck for 3 HR trying to figure it out while I was waiting. I saw them driving the truck back and forth. They said the check everything and it was all tight. Finally he said they found the problem it was the center bolt in the strut on the left side. Everything was good for 2 week and 2 days ago it came back. Now it gone again. So I had to call the dealership and let them know the noise is gone. So I was told to keep driving the truck and as soon as I hear the noise bring it in.

I have something very similar. Sporadic. Thought it was the brake pedal rattling at first. They have started replacing trim parts in the driver footwell....
 
For over a year, I continue hear the same sporadic front end hard metal to metal noise when I go over a speed bump or a deep gutter at street intersection. Took the 2016 TRD 4X4 to the dealership and to an independent front end mechanic and they could not find anything wrong with it. Together with the normal injectors noise and the normal break pedal spring noise, its annoying!
 
Your front suspension struts are internaly damaged. they loose internal pressure. make dealer change both sides. Hitachi blue struts are defective had mine changed 2 times. good luck...
 
Thanks! Cano. Now I know what to tell to the dealer service desk. Any recalls on the Hitachi blue struts?

I had the same issue with my 2015 tacoma sport. Took it back to the dealer several times and they never fixed it. They acknowledge the noise but did not find the problem and basically told me to drive it until something breaks off....wtf??? Sounded like the structs ? I ended up just trading it in for a 2018 Trd off-road. Hopefully I won’t have any issues . Sorry I can’t help you out with the problem but just know it’s not just your truck with that noise problem.
