Custom Tacoma license plate brackets. 2 different styles. Small bracket is $23 shipped and large bracket is $33 shipped. Both use all stainless hardware with rubber isolators to reduce or prevent damage to painted bumpers. Both include free shipping anda detailed instruction sheet for the 5 minute installation. All brackets are machined and hand polished using grade 6061 aluminum. The 3rd gen factory plastic bracket will leave permanent grooves in the painted front bumper. The 2nd gen, and many other vehicles, that use no bracket, will have paint damage from the plate mounted with no bracket. See the damage in these pictures.
SMALL QF1A BRACKET
This bracket fits all 2nd gen and 3rd gen Tacoma. It is a direct replacement for the 3rd gen dealer installed plastic bracket. It also fits any vehicle that has the front license plate mounted directly to the front bumper. This bracket alone is safe in automatic brush style carwashes however the license plate is prone to damage by the brushes. If you use automatic carwashes then I strongly recommend removing the 2 plate screws and license plate prior to entering. My larger bracket is carwash safe and no removal is required. Next post will be of full sized bracket.
