Gas saving devices

Are these for real? Do they really work? Most seem to be OBD2 plug in's. Prices are all over the place. Anyone?

Idk, everything i've read about those products turn out to be snake oil. Never tried them.

I think whatever type chip is in those devices are suppose to optimize your trucks tune for the driving conditions your doing. Have no idea if they actually work.

Don't drive over 70 . Use a light foot with cruise off. Keep the down shifting to a minimum. I can get 23 mpg running 66 to 68 with minimum shifting.V6 engine 2020 off road.

I doubt these plug-ins would do anything the tranny in our trucks dont already do.

In today's world with epa mandates I'm sure most vehicles are already capable of getting their max fuel economy. Biggest things are keep tires inflated properly, maintain service, don't haul around a bunch of junk ya don't need, drive responsibility . The higher the gas prices go the more snake oil salesman will appear.
