a little over priced but i needed it for the Mojave run my first year and they were the only people in the general area that had one in stock. I am definitely impressed with the antenna and magnet mount. Haven't had it move more than an inch yet. And the range is pretty good as well!

What system are you running to have the VOX set up James? PCI has a 2 person set up but its $1400 :blink:

Mine is by icom. Not sure what model, but its a remote face, 4 position sand car setup.

I've never had a handheld. I've always had the V8000.

It was rjallday who had the handheld..I had to help him the night he got it to program frequencies on the night run for jens birthday

What did you need serviced? I think they do service but I'm not positive

I don't need it done right this moment, but like Johnnies, his radio was overheating and cutting off. I was wondering will HMO service this or do you have to buy a new radio?

They will service radios at their shop..if you had a yaesu you can take it directly to them(yaesu) I think in tustin.

No. I thought it was at the time but then my dust light was also flickering. When I got home I discovered I had a loose connection on my fuse box causing all the electrical accessories to go off and on. Everything is fine now.
