Well I bit the bullet and upgraded to a HomeLink mirror in our 2017. They are damn proud of these items. One feature I really missed and did not realize my SR5 did not have on it. The other features I miss are auto headlights, keyless ignition and auto lock tail gate. Oh well I guess that will have to be on the next Tacoma.

Update - Well this option upgrade was the best money I spent on Taco. Now that I am use to it I could not get along without it.

Gees sorry snapper09 did not see question. I purchased online for $220. Sold old mirror on eBay for $80. Installed myself (very easy). Got blue color which is nice. They have yellow and green also...
 
No wiring. I just searched eBay for new "Gentex Mirror w/Homelink® BLUE Compass BLUE Backlit Buttons For 2016-17 Tacoma". There is one right now at $165.
