I just bought bilstein 5100 for front and add a leaf for the rear. One shop quoted me 350-450 for the install. The other quoted me 300. Does this seem about right?

It sounds about right. It also depends where you are located.

lol. I know that feeling. I paid $266 for a rear 5160.

Isn't there a way to it with bottle jacks in the driveway? Cost of labor there is cheap lol

Yeah I'm just gonna do it myself with my friend to help. I've never worked on suspension though so hopefully everything goes well

I've never worked on cars until my truck. Picture instructions, or just step by step instructions guides have taught me well

Make sure you have clamps for the front ones!

Be slow and cautious, follow the instructions (some guys think their too good for them) and you'll be fine

Do it in your driveway or your parents! Jack stands 2-4 ton floor jack. Watch the videos online! You don't need a spring compressor for the front springs!
