Stock because it pulls air from a "cold" area. If you want the noise, get something boxed like AFE Stage 2 SI which also pulls air from the same area as OEM.

Get a scangauge 2.
Compare stock intake air temps to ambient air temps while doing about 45mph.
Urd has rain issues
Volant runs lean
The newer all plastic "trd" runs lean
The afe runs perfect as far as afr, but it's loud as **** above about 2k rpm.... Like it sounds as if there's a rabid squirrel with tourettes and a lil hammer trying to smash it's way through your glove box.
Like to shout while talking to a passenger 8" away from you while merging?
Unless u have a supercharger... Then somehow the intake is damn near silent
