Agree, seems like new guys get an answer and gone. They need to stick around and learn something. Or maybe help others.Just trying to keep it alive. This forum is a great source of info, but we need the new folks to stick around and keep contributing.

Actually 2-for-1 plus $2,500. Sold the 2016, after 5.5 years, for $30,500, which is what I paid new in 2016, then bought the 2012 for $14,000 and, 4 weeks later, the 2008 for $14,000. Both are rear wheel drive. Bought both sight unseen without a test drive. Both run and drive excellent. Now the high KBB is $19,000 on each of the 2nd gens. Bonus is I reduced my total car insurance and my total annual vehicle personal property taxes are 1/2 of my 2016. I am pretty stoked about the whole deal. The biggest bonus is getting the confidence of the bulletproof 4.0 engine and the predictable reliable 5 speed automatic transmission again. I added a K&N cold air intake and a 2.5 inch Gibson exhaust to the 2016 and it never had the low end power or throttle response of these stock 4.0 trucks. Both trucks are completely up to date with new flushed and filled fluids, brakes, hoses, plugs, etc.. I feel like a lottery winner.Two-fer-one. Sounds like a good deal to me.
I'm new and I know I'll be around for a while. Help will be needed at some point for fixing something on the truck. One thing I'm wanting to do is get advice on where to find some trails that are for beginners to off roading and suitable for bone stock trucks.Agree, seems like new guys get an answer and gone. Love the color of the Off Road!I am guilty myself. I check in frequently and don't see much activity. I also frequent TW where there are endless numbers of new posts and pages daily. I also used to frequent toyotatruckclub.com, where I am a vendor, but that site has all but stopped functioning. I don't know the answer.
On a side note I sold my 2016 Sport and bought a 2012 SR5 with 140k miles and a 2008 Off Road with 83k miles. So I have been busy with the usual upgrades like 4runner 17" wheels, tool boxes, nerf bars, Clazzio seat covers, speaker upgrades, etc, etc, etc.
