I know this isn't some
Fancy lift kit but it's all I could afford, I'm college right now. My Tacoma is a TRD sport with the 4.0l. But it's a 2wd, I might add a locker in the future. I'm only doing light to moderate off roading so I thought this lift kit would be good for me.
I haven't put it on yet, I'm still saving up for my methods and bfg muds. How do u like the ride with this lift?
Be careful... a few of us have seen people snap shocks ONROAD, while driving normally and hitting small imperfections in the road because of spacer lifts.I haven't put it on yet, I'm still saving up for my methods and bfg muds.
Isn't spacer and spindle lift same thing? I'm new to thisBe careful... a few of us have seen people snap shocks ONROAD, while driving normally and hitting small imperfections in the road because of spacer lifts.
The lift I bought is a spindle lift correct?Be careful... a few of us have seen people snap shocks ONROAD, while driving normally and hitting small imperfections in the road because of spacer lifts.

Nope, not in that pic.... thats a ruff country spacerThe lift I bought is a spindle lift correct?
So quick question, since I have a spacer lift and if I wanna get a ARB bumper, will it still sag? Because I remember on a previous thread you told me that it shouldn't sag since it's a spindle lift? I have the lift kit at my house and it looks like it made of good quality material. It's all metal and looks solid. I'll post pics later if you want to see.Nope, not in that pic.... thats a ruff country spacer
I'm sure the spacers are solid, but I think the concern is that spacer lifts tend to put added stress to other parts of the suspension. I know plenty of people run spacers without issues though...So quick question, since I have a spacer lift and if I wanna get a ARB bumper, will it still sag? Neither will sag on its own..... but yes, a bumper on either will sag.So quick question, since I have a spacer lift and if I wanna get a ARB bumper, will it still sag? I don't know the difference till now honestly. The only reason I got it was that friend got it on his tundra and said it was good. Funny thing his front shock actually snapped in half as you said, but that was only because he took it on a jump lol.View attachment 9597
See how it looks?
No mention of bumper there, so thats why i said it wont sag..... sorry about that.
