Installed it. The sound is good inside and has a bit more pep. Totally happy with it. Can't wait for my exhaust to come in.

Just don't soak the filter with oil after cleaning. Usually they are over oil from the factory.

Theres 2 parties to k&n...... those who have seen problems with them, and those who havent.

Also dont clean them too often, as the wonderful engineers at k&n say the filters rely on the fine dirt particles to increase filtering ability.

Cause building a filter that filters from day 1 is too difficult.

Depends on driving conditions. More dust dirt roads cleaning will need to be done more often. If you're only city driving less. I'd check it at each oil change and hold it to the sun if it looks bad clean it.
I clean mine every other oil change and spray the air compressor through it every oil change but I have an aFe dry filter.

If you don't over oil it you'll be fine.

Exactly. Just don’t over oil it. There have been a lot of mass air flow sensor issues with them on the new Tacomas.

One of many reasons I run a dry aFe pro s filter.
