LED's ... whatcha got??

sup all, looking to replace the interior lights in the truck before the end of the year ... I know we like to brag and show off, post up some pics of your LED's to give me some inspiration!
 
I ordered the lights in the pic above, received them yesterday and installed last night ... I love 'em!!

best of all, installation was a piece of cake

it took me about 10 minutes to get them in, very simple install ...

starting with the map lights (I have a 2012, for reference) - carefully take a small flat head screwdriver and remove the cover/switch by pulling it down and away from the fixture, do this on the side with the switch, the other side has a backwards "C" swivel piece that you could break by forcing it down.

once you have the covers off, just use a pair of needle-nose pliers and carefully grab the bulb, wiggling it out of the connection ... you dont need to remove the reflector piece, the light will still come out. pop the new LED bulb into the now vacated housing and give it a test by clicking the switch, if it doesnt work, pop it back out and turn it 180 degrees, the LED's are sensitive + and - ... pop it in and test again, if it didnt work the first time, it should after you rotate it.

dome light, start on the driver side of the dome light, when you remove the cover it should remain attached to the fixture by way of a groove on the passenger side and just hang there while you work ... same process as before with removing the old bulb and replacing it with the new LED ... again if it doesnt turn on, just remove it and put it in the other way. I was 1 for 3 in fitting them the right way ...

once everything is back together, replace the covers and test the lights ... just make sure that when you get out of the car to test, you turn the map lights off or you stand there wondering why everything is still lit up inside the car ... LOL

have confidence, it's an easy job ...
 
I got blue LEDS in Cab,map and dome lights ,all blue LEDs,I got SAMSUNG 921 projector backup lamps too! Might add a 8 inch wide LED Light bar on Truck Bed bar facing in Back for more back up light in dark situations and a 8 inch LED Light bar on front of bull bar to spotlight the front as a fog light addition!
 
I put purple leds in my cab to match the stripe i painted on. I also have some purple strip leds im going to use for under rail bed lights. I don't have the bed lights installed yet though. I'll try to get pictures later.
