Just changed my oil. Reset the light like normal it was succesful. But the light still flashes 6 times then goes out. What am I missing here ?????

Does it flash when you first turn on the ignition? If so that's normal. It's a systems check.

Yes, it hasn't always done it. Which is the reason for my concern.

If it's just coming on when you first start it up your fine. It has always done it. You may have just never known it. Mine does the same thing.
