Hey everyone.I disconnected my battery in my 22 tacoma for a few hours then when I hooked it back up I had no navigation or time set.has anyone ever encountered this issue and if so how can I get it back to normal?

I asked my dealer about that same thing when I bought my truck in 2020,,,,they told me these trucks now have back up if you change the battery. I'm now wondering how long this backup is, or if at all.

Simple fix.

Wear a watch and use a Rand-McNally Road Atlas. Or ask your wife, she is probably willing to tell you where to go and what time to go.


Ok, seriously....... Check your Owner's Manual. It may have a reset detailed. Or stop by the dealership for a short visit with the Service Desk.

Idk, about that type of reset. I've gone through all the stuff in my on screen dash menu system, and saw none of that. Resetting the maintenance schedule has been super simple vs the older Toyotas like our Prius.
