NEED HELP

I have 16"x7 steel rims w/ 285/75/16 tires w/ 3" lift now that rub when turned all the way. I'm buying 17" FJ rims. When I order my tires do I need to get lower profile tires now

I have FJ wheels. The offset is only a 5mm difference. With you having steel wheels I'm not sure. I went from TRD bead locks to TRD FJ. Ask the dealership. They will know what the offset. Or just google it.

I run 265 70R 16. Love them. Had BFG A/T before. Running general grabber at2. I save a lot by not getting the heavy ply. (P265x70R16). Overkill for the Tacoma's.
