New tacoma owner,ground clearance.

Just baught my first tacoma a 2011 4x4 5 speed 2.7 ext cab with a leer cap.got rid of my 2005 f150 5.7 for it. Wanted to get more ground clearance what tires would be my best option for street and weekend offroading.will most likely do a leveling kit aswell.

You can go up to a 265 75 16 on stock suspension. If you want a mild lift I would suggest skipping the leveling kit and get some adjustable bilstein 5100's. Most use the 1.75" setting to level the truck and the ride will be much better than a spacer lift.

If you are comfortable using a spring compressor then you could do them yourself. Just remember to get an alignment when you're done.

I can deffently do them then. i will check out the link thanks. Then i will.look for a rim and tire package, want to do all this while i have the cash.
