New to Tacoma and Toyota

I just picked up my 2021 TRD Sport yesterday. My son works for Ford so I was looking at the Ranger and took it for a test ride. It was a nice truck and was fully loaded but felt a little cramped inside. There was the Tacoma sitting there on the lot, so I decided to take it for a ride. I fell instantly in love with it. It felt roomier inside and rode nicer than the Ranger. I really wanted to like the Ford, but it could not compare to the Tacoma. I gave up some creature comforts buying the Taco instead of the Ranger, but I feel it will be worth it in the long run..

Congrats on the tacoma, and welcome. Idk a lot about the ranger except i know a an employee that works at a local water company where they have service rangers and tacoma's says both have their plus's and negatives depending who drives them. Ranger has more power, the tacoma feels more planted on the road.

Felt the same when I tested a Colorado . drove it then we got back in my 135k mile 2003 tundra and my wife and I looked at each other and said, "Another Toyota!" at the same time . I got the taco !

Same for the wife and myself when i had my gen1 tundra. I test drove a canyon and the older frontier, and went back to a toyota. The tacoma just felt more soild, plus i'm not one that gets impressed with more comfort creatures.
