Oil maintenance light

So I change my oil every 5k miles and I reset the light myself.. but I had to change my battery not to long ago and I'm about 400 miles before my oil change and I didn't notice it flashing usually around 500 miles it warns you does changing your battery screw around with the ecu and mess everything up? Because I noticed that my trip A and trip B got zeroed out?

I’d just do the oil change in the near future and reset the light then. That way it will be set to come on at the correct interval for the next oil change.

Oil and filter are cheap enough.. good advise.
